Mindfulness Breath by Breath
Join me for a two-hour workshop and experience the core practices of mindfulness: breathing, meditation and subtle movement. We’ll talk about stress reduction, emotional/mental fitness, and spiritual practices to cultivate peace.
The first hour you’ll learn about the yogic tradition and emerging insights in neuroscience, and contemplative practices. We’ll learn about breath physiology and practice breathing and meditation techniques. The second hour we'll practice yoga integrating breath with embodied experience – attention to noticing sensation, thoughts, emotional currents.
